progressbar.terminal.colors module

The xterm 256-color table and the gradients built from it.

Pure data. Every color is registered with Colors.register at import, which is what lets a color be looked up later by name, RGB, HSL or palette index. The gradients at the end are what widgets use to shade a bar by completion, and come in light and dark variants chosen from the terminal’s background brightness.

progressbar.terminal.colors.rainbow: HueGradient = <progressbar.terminal.base.HueGradient object>

The full hue wheel, for colours that cycle instead of tracking progress (the default AnimatedMarker spinner).
